Over a year and a half ago there was opportunity for a negotiated peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia, but that was thwarted by the U.S. and Britain guaranteeing Zelensky all the backing needed to defeat Russia. We have now arrived at the point of over 500 thousand Ukranian military deaths as well as civilians with no possibility of winning this conflict. Our current administration shows no interest in a peace settlement but only in escalating into a much larger scale of war that would involve NATO and all the while we are being led by a leader in complete mental decline. Have I got that right? If so, this can only be complete insanity.
